Down Warden Park
The newest of the West Plains City Parks, the Don Warden Park on Lincoln Avenue, saw its' first development as site of the very successful 2010 Community Garden. The volunteer committee planning for the Parks' future is looking toward a number of improvements as monies become available. In addition to the garden area, plans call for walking trails, children’s' play area, an outdoor theater site, a rest area and more flower beds.
Anyone interested in helping develop the Park, named in honor of West Plains native and Nashville Country Music Star Don Warden, may contact Dawn Hicks at 256-7078.
The black dashed line around the perimeter of the park is the walking trail with the red dashed lines to be additional paths if we have the funds.
